Presently I am working as an SEN Teaching Assistant at Morpeth School, East London.

I work with Year 7 Children with Speech and Language difficulties.

I help them individually within their national curriculum subject lessons: Maths; Science; Art; RE; RS (Resistant Materials); Geography; History; Music; Drama and French. Through differentiation of schemes of work - together we find ways for each of them to develop strategies for accessing the wider curriculum.


When working with them in small numbers for RML (Ruth Miskin Literacy),P Level English and through observing them working with their speech and language therapist, I focus on patterns, understanding individual stumbling blocks, strengths and coping strategies and moreover its helps me to get to know them, their character, interests, fears and ambitions.


Each of the young people I am working with encourage and inspire me on a daily basis we are finding new ways to become more active participants.
